About the Role
The Rodman is an entry-level field position that supports the Party Chief and Instrument Man. You’ll help keep survey operations running smoothly by assisting with day-to-day tasks on job sites as directed.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Party Chief and Instrument Man with field survey work as needed
- Perform manual field tasks such as brush clearing, tree cutting, and pipeline probing
- Load and unload vehicles, boats, and off-road equipment
- Clean and maintain vehicles, boats, buggies, and survey tools on a regular basis
- Help ensure required supplies are stocked and ready for each job
Requirements
- Ability to work outdoors and perform hands-on manual labor
- Willingness to work a schedule of approximately 10 hours per day, Monday through Saturday
- Ability to respond to short-notice overtime when needed to meet project deadlines
