About the Role
MKS2 Technologies, LLC is seeking an on-site Systems Administrator to support an active project for government clients. In this role, you’ll help ensure reliable, secure IT operations while contributing to a mission-focused organization known for steady growth and strong client outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain server and endpoint systems to support day-to-day operations.
- Monitor system health and respond to incidents to minimize downtime.
- Support user accounts, permissions, and access management.
- Assist with system updates, patching, and configuration management.
- Collaborate with project stakeholders to address operational and security needs.
Requirements
- Experience supporting Windows and/or Linux environments.
- Strong understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing basics).
- Comfort with troubleshooting hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
- Ability to work on-site in Asheville, NC.
Benefits
- $59,000 annual pay with full benefits.
