About the Role
Join the Etch Product Group System Engineering team at Lam, where you’ll help shape system-level architecture and end-to-end requirements for advanced semiconductor process modules. As a senior system engineering leader, you’ll partner closely with engineering, program management, product management, and other stakeholders to deliver next-generation wafer fabrication technology.
Responsibilities
- Design complex systems, frameworks, and product architectures for wafer fabrication equipment.
- Define system specifications, requirements, parameters, and compatibility needs to integrate hardware, software, and firmware.
- Drive end-to-end requirements and traceability across system components and subsystems.
- Identify, analyze, and resolve system design issues to support successful integration and delivery.
- Collaborate daily with cross-functional teams to align technical direction with program goals.
Requirements
- Experience applying systems engineering principles to complex technical programs.
- Strong understanding of integrating hardware, software, and firmware into cohesive systems.
- Ability to translate system requirements into actionable specifications and interfaces.
- Proven problem-solving skills for system design tradeoffs, integration challenges, and technical risks.
- Demonstrated collaboration with cross-functional engineering and program stakeholders.
