About the Role
SAYDAR is in an exciting growth phase and is seeking a hands-on, highly technical Tech Lead to help shape the next stage of our platform. This fully onsite role is based in Mahwah, New Jersey, with in-office work required five days per week. You’ll join an engineering team with a strong, well-maintained codebase and reliable infrastructure—so you can focus on improving and scaling what’s already working.
Responsibilities
- Set technical direction and strengthen system architecture across backend and platform components
- Drive decisions involving cloud infrastructure, DevOps practices, automation, and performance
- Plan for platform scalability as the business grows, including reliability and efficiency improvements
- Collaborate with engineering, product, and leadership to align technical plans with business goals
- Contribute to applied AI initiatives and help evaluate where AI can add practical value
Requirements
- Proven experience leading technical initiatives and guiding architecture decisions
- Strong background in backend systems and cloud infrastructure
- Hands-on DevOps experience, including CI/CD, automation, and operational excellence
- Demonstrated focus on performance, reliability, and scalable system design
- Experience working with applied AI or building AI-enabled features (preferred)
