About the Role

Gritter Francona is seeking a skilled Voice Actor to deliver professional narration and character performances for animated educational videos supporting the Veterans Health Administration (VHA) National Center for PTSD. You will bring evidence-based behavioral health information to life with a serious yet hopeful tone—engaging, compassionate, and accessible to diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Record narration and character dialogue for animated educational videos and related multimedia materials
  • Interpret approved scripts and present complex clinical and behavioral health content clearly and naturally
  • Match the intended pacing, tone, and emotional context while maintaining scientific credibility
  • Adjust vocal delivery to meet the needs of varied audiences, including Veterans, trauma survivors, caregivers, healthcare providers, and the public
  • Collaborate with project managers, producers, directors, scriptwriters, subject matter experts (SMEs), and Government stakeholders during recording
  • Participate in rehearsals, retakes, and revisions to ensure high-quality deliverables
  • Pronounce medical, clinical, and technical terminology accurately and consistently
  • Take direction on emphasis, timing, pronunciation, and delivery to align with animation and educational messaging
  • Maintain professionalism during studio or remote sessions and meet established schedules
  • Ensure performances remain respectful, trauma-informed, and culturally sensitive
  • Support quality assurance by reviewing recordings and implementing revisions for final approval

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 3 years of experience providing professional voice acting or narration relevant to this work
  • Proven experience recording high-quality voice performances for animation, educational media, or similar multimedia productions
