VP Finance (Hands-On Leadership) | Remote

About the Role

Bastion is building regulated financial infrastructure for modern businesses, and we’re looking for a VP of Finance to lead finance systems, processes, and operational infrastructure. This is a hands-on role where you’ll own the financials end to end—from month-end close through regulatory reporting and planning.

Responsibilities

• Own month-end close, forecasting, budgeting, and ongoing financial performance management
• Lead preparation of regulatory filings and ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness
• Build and maintain scalable finance systems, controls, and reporting workflows
• Develop financial models that support strategic decisions and business planning
• Partner cross-functionally to support compliance-first risk management and operational execution
• Improve tooling and processes to increase reliability, visibility, and efficiency across finance

Requirements

• Proven experience owning finance operations, close, and reporting in a fast-moving environment
• Strong knowledge of financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting
• Experience with regulatory or compliance-related financial reporting
• Demonstrated leadership in building scalable finance processes and infrastructure
• Comfort working hands-on with data, systems, and stakeholders across the business
