About the Role
As Hexium moves from laboratory success to commercial deployment, we need a strong federal partnerships leader to help accelerate commercialization and unlock strategic investment. The Vice President of Government Affairs reports directly to the CEO and leads Hexium’s engagement strategy across key U.S. stakeholders.
You’ll partner closely with executive leadership to build trusted relationships and advance government partnerships, including opportunities for strategic funding aligned with Hexium’s long-term goals.
Responsibilities
- Lead Hexium’s federal engagement strategy and government affairs priorities
- Build and maintain relationships with federal agencies, including DOE, NNSA, and NRC
- Engage with Congress and other key federal stakeholders to advance company objectives
- Support commercialization strategy through government partnership development
- Collaborate with executive leadership to identify, pursue, and progress strategic funding opportunities
- Represent Hexium in high-level meetings, briefings, and stakeholder communications
Requirements
- Proven experience in U.S. government affairs, federal partnerships, or public sector engagement
- Strong understanding of federal stakeholder environments and policy/process dynamics
- Demonstrated ability to build senior-level relationships and drive outcomes
- Strategic leadership experience working cross-functionally with executive teams
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to brief and influence decision-makers
