About the Role
We are seeking a Waiter to support the Bolling Club at Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling in Washington, D.C. This Non-Appropriated Fund (NAF) position focuses on serving preselected, preordered food and beverages for banquet (group) events.
Responsibilities
- Set and reset tables for food and beverages, ensuring dishes, glassware, and silverware meet cleanliness standards
- Secure and maintain linens, glassware, and silverware based on the event format
- Follow established instructions and strict event time schedules to coordinate service
- Retrieve food from the kitchen and transport beverages from the bar to the service area
- Serve customers and refill food and beverage containers as needed
- Perform emergency cleanup as directed
- Assist guests with simple menu questions
Requirements
- Ability to use arms, hands, and legs as required for service and setup
- Ability to stand, walk, reach, and lift for extended periods
- Ability to lift and carry objects that typically weigh 10 pounds or less
- Reliability and attention to cleanliness and presentation standards
