About the Role
Summit is looking for a Data Science Consultant or Senior Data Science Consultant to help clients turn complex data into clear, actionable insights. You’ll support federal, state, and private-sector initiatives across areas like infrastructure finance, transaction advisory, program evaluation, modernization, and enforcement and litigation analytics.
Responsibilities
- Partner with client teams to design and deliver analytics that address real-world decision needs
- Apply statistical and data science methods to analyze complex datasets and generate insights
- Develop modern analytical approaches and models to support program, policy, and operational outcomes
- Communicate findings clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Contribute to continuous improvement through learning, collaboration, and knowledge sharing
Requirements
- Experience delivering data science or analytics solutions in consulting, public sector, or comparable environments
- Strong foundation in statistics, economics, and data-driven problem solving
- Proficiency with modern data science tooling and workflows
- Ability to translate analytical results into practical recommendations
- Comfort working in a collaborative, client-facing environment
