About the Role

Redwood Materials is building a safer, more sustainable energy storage supply chain by recovering, reusing, and recycling battery materials at scale. As an early member of our new engineering team, you’ll help design and run abuse tests that replicate extreme and misuse conditions to validate product safety.

Responsibilities

  • Design, execute, and analyze abuse test plans for energy storage systems
  • Simulate harsh operating conditions and misuse scenarios to evaluate safety performance
  • Collaborate with design and manufacturing engineering to align test methods with product requirements
  • Document results clearly and communicate findings to engineering stakeholders

Requirements

  • Experience with test design, execution, and data analysis in an engineering environment
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams to translate safety goals into measurable test outcomes
