About the Role
Family Guidance Center of AL is seeking a qualified Accountant with experience or working knowledge of grants management. This role supports accurate grant payment processing and maintains reliable records to help the organization meet reporting and compliance needs.
Responsibilities
- Enter weekly grant data and payment information into the accounting system accurately and on time
- Process weekly grant activity, including related payments and adjustments such as voids, reissues, and cancellations
- Follow established grant management processes and protocols
- Maintain and organize grant-related records for internal tracking and documentation
Requirements
- Accounting degree or equivalent qualification
- Some knowledge of grants management and related payment workflows
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with deadlines
- Comfort working in an accounting system and documenting grant transactions
