About the Role
We’re seeking an Accounting Clerk to help keep our financial records accurate and current. In this role, you’ll support day-to-day accounting activities such as tracking expenditures, processing receipts, and assisting with accounts payable and accounts receivable. You’ll also collaborate with senior team members and provide support across departments as needs arise.
Responsibilities
- Use QuickBooks (or similar bookkeeping software) to manage daily accounts receivable and accounts payable
- Receive and record cash, checks, and vouchers; reconcile bank statements
- Assist with payroll tasks, purchase tracking, invoice preparation, and monitoring overdue accounts
- Prepare and support financial reporting including profit and loss, balance sheets, and related statements
- Provide updates to management through reports, presentations, and routine status communication
Requirements
- Prior experience in an accounting clerk or bookkeeping support role (preferred)
- Working knowledge of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
- Comfort using QuickBooks or similar accounting software
- Strong attention to detail and ability to reconcile financial records accurately
- Good communication skills and willingness to assist multiple departments
