About the Role
Leland is hiring an experienced Accounting Coach to support students and early-career professionals as they prepare to enter—or grow within—the accounting field. You’ll help coachees build confidence in key accounting concepts and translate learning into practical, job-ready skills.
Responsibilities
- Coach coachees on core accounting principles, including financial statements and reporting
- Support learning in auditing fundamentals, taxation concepts, and related workflows
- Guide skill-building exercises that reflect real-world accounting tasks and scenarios
- Provide structured feedback to help learners strengthen understanding and improve performance
- Help coachees build clear study plans and progress toward their professional goals
Requirements
- Proven experience in accounting, auditing, taxation, or a closely related area
- Strong command of accounting principles and practical application
- Ability to explain complex topics clearly and support learners at different levels
- Experience coaching, mentoring, or teaching (preferred)
