After-School Program Associate (Entry-Level) - San Jose, CA (Onsite)

About the Role

BrightBee is looking for an After-School Program Associate to support students in local schools. In this role, you’ll help create a safe, encouraging space where students can learn, grow, and feel supported after the school day ends.

Responsibilities

• Welcome students into the program and help them transition into a positive, structured environment
• Supervise activities and ensure students follow program expectations
• Support homework time and provide guidance when students need extra help
• Lead or assist with group activities and provide encouragement to students
• Maintain accurate attendance and behavior records
• Communicate with parents and teachers to support student success

Requirements

• Ability to supervise children in a safe, respectful, and supportive manner
• Comfort working with students and helping with homework support
• Strong reliability and attention to detail for attendance and documentation
• Good communication skills for working with families and school partners
