About the Role
Join KIPP Texas Public Schools as a Career and Technical Education (CTE) Dual Credit Curriculum Specialist. In this instructional leadership role, you will help strengthen CTE curriculum, instruction, and assessment across KIPP Texas schools—especially by expanding and sustaining high-quality dual credit CTE opportunities for students.
You will partner with teachers, school leaders, regional academic teams, and higher education (IHE) partners to ensure CTE programs of study align to industry expectations, certifications, dual credit requirements, and clear postsecondary pathways.
Responsibilities
- Provide coaching and support to CTE teachers across programs of study, with an emphasis on improving instructional practice and student outcomes.
- Collaborate with school and regional teams to align curriculum, assessments, and instructional resources to CTE standards and dual credit expectations.
- Work with IHE partners to ensure program alignment, compliance with dual credit requirements, and smooth student transitions to postsecondary options.
- Support the development and sustainability of dual credit CTE programming through coordinated planning and ongoing improvement.
- Partner with stakeholders to strengthen alignment between industry needs, certifications, and the skills students must master.
Requirements
- Experience in CTE curriculum development, instructional coaching, or related instructional leadership.
- Strong understanding of dual credit structures and the role of higher education partnerships.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, leaders, and external partners to drive alignment and continuous improvement.
- Commitment to student success and postsecondary readiness.
