About the Role
LPA, a design, engineering, and research collective recognized for sustainable, high-performance architecture, is seeking an Architecture Design Coordinator to join our San Jose studio. In this role, you’ll help support an integrated design culture that prioritizes collaboration, technical excellence, and measurable reductions in carbon emissions.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and support architectural design activities across project teams and disciplines
- Assist with organizing project documentation, design deliverables, and internal review workflows
- Help maintain clear communication among designers, engineers, and stakeholders
- Support tracking of project progress, schedules, and design milestones
- Contribute to quality control by ensuring deliverables align with project standards and requirements
Requirements
- Experience in architectural design coordination or related studio/project support work
- Strong organization and attention to detail in fast-moving project environments
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Comfort working with technical design documentation and project workflows
- Commitment to sustainability and high-performance design principles
