About the Role
Elastic is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the Elasticsearch Security team. You’ll help shape the architecture and design of core Elasticsearch security capabilities, working closely with engineering and product leaders to deliver secure search experiences.
Responsibilities
- Design and build key Elasticsearch Security features, including authentication and authorization
- Contribute to tenant isolation to help ensure strong separation of data across customers
- Partner with cross-functional teams to translate product needs into technical solutions
- Help improve system reliability, performance, and security through thoughtful engineering practices
Requirements
- Strong software engineering background with experience designing security-focused systems
- Experience working on distributed systems and large-scale platforms
- Proficiency in building and maintaining backend services
- Ability to collaborate effectively with product and engineering stakeholders
