Position Summary
The Gus Machado College of Business invites applications for a full-time, 9-month, renewable faculty appointment at the rank of Assistant Professor. This role focuses on delivering student-centered instruction and contributing to the academic and professional mission of the College.
Responsibilities
- Teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses in quantitative and statistical analysis with a focus on supply chain, operations, logistics, and economics
- Develop and refine course content, assignments, and assessment methods
- Support student learning through advising, mentoring, and academic engagement
- Contribute to departmental and college initiatives, including curriculum development
- Participate in service activities that support the university community
Requirements
- Earned doctorate (or terminal degree) in a relevant discipline (e.g., supply chain, logistics, operations, economics, statistics, or a closely related field)
- Demonstrated ability to teach quantitative and statistical coursework
- Strong commitment to student success and academic excellence
- Ability to contribute to program development and faculty service
