About the Role
Turner & Townsend is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support our growing Dallas Data Center team. This full-time, site-based role helps deliver mission-critical construction projects from preconstruction through closeout, working closely with experienced Project Managers, contractors, and client stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Assist with data center construction delivery across preconstruction, construction, and closeout phases
- Maintain full-time on-site presence to support daily project activities
- Coordinate contractors, consultants, and client stakeholders to keep work moving
- Support RFI and submittal workflows, change order tracking, and project documentation
- Attend coordination meetings and drive agreed actions to completion
- Conduct regular site walks to monitor progress, quality, and safety
- Help manage schedule, cost, risks, and issues
- Prepare project reports, dashboards, and meeting minutes
- Support procurement activities, commissioning support, punch list management, and turnover
- Represent Turner & Townsend professionally and build strong client relationships
- Support SOX control responsibilities where applicable
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
- Mission-critical or data center experience preferred
- Strong communication skills and ability to manage stakeholders effectively
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with Procore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, or MS Project is a plus
- Ability to work full-time on-site in the Dallas area
