About the Role
Join our team as an Assistant Store Manager in our Irvine location. This leadership pipeline role is designed to help you grow into the next Bakery Operations Manager by running day-to-day bakery operations with urgency, accuracy, and accountability.
You’ll act as a strong extension of the Bakery Operations Manager (BOM), with the ability to step into full bakery ownership when needed. The role combines hands-on operational leadership, team development, and administrative ownership.
Responsibilities
- Execute core bakery operations, including inventory rotation and support for scheduling and staffing coordination
- Ensure administrative tasks are completed accurately and on time to support smooth store operations
- Lead and coach team members to strengthen performance and build leadership capability
- Maintain operational standards while supporting a high-urgency, high-accountability work environment
- Step in for full bakery ownership when the BOM is unavailable
Requirements
- Proven experience supporting bakery or retail operations in a leadership or supervisory capacity
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to lead a team and coach others in day-to-day execution
- Comfort taking ownership of administrative and operational responsibilities
- Reliable presence and ability to step into higher-level duties as needed
