About the Role
Vista Peak Preparatory is seeking a Cross Categorical Teacher for a 187-day school year. This role is designated as Hard to Fill and may qualify for an annual $5,000 stipend, paid in two installments of $2,500 in January and June, contingent on working the full semester.
Responsibilities
- Provide instruction to students in the assigned area for at least 50% of the assignment
- Serve as an educator of record for the class when meeting the applicable criteria
- Teach and support students in a cross-categorical setting in alignment with school and state expectations
Requirements
- Be licensed by the Colorado Department of Education (CDE)
- Hold appropriate endorsements to teach the class and/or meet CDE criteria to serve as an educator of record
Benefits
- Hard-to-Fill annual stipend: $5,000 (two payments of $2,500)
