About the Role
Join our team as a Backend Developer to design, build, and maintain the server-side components of our applications. You’ll help ensure our back-end services are secure, scalable, and high-performing while integrating smoothly with front-end and third-party systems.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain back-end services, APIs, and database components
- Build scalable systems that support high request and data volumes
- Apply security and data protection best practices across services
- Optimize performance and troubleshoot production issues
- Collaborate with front-end developers and stakeholders to support end-to-end features
- Manage database schemas, queries, and migrations using SQL and/or NoSQL
- Write clean, maintainable, and testable code
Requirements
- Proven experience building back-end services and APIs
- Strong understanding of databases and data modeling (SQL and/or NoSQL)
- Experience with performance tuning and debugging
- Knowledge of security fundamentals for server-side applications
- Ability to collaborate effectively across teams
