About the Role
La Familia is seeking a Bilingual Mental Health Specialist to support individuals and families through compassionate, culturally responsive mental health services. This role is based at our Merced office and works under clinical direction to help clients access care and make meaningful progress.
Responsibilities
- Provide bilingual (English/Spanish) support to clients as part of mental health services
- Work under clinical supervision to assist with treatment and care planning activities
- Support clients in navigating services and resources that promote wellbeing
- Maintain professionalism and confidentiality while documenting relevant client information
Requirements
- Ability to communicate effectively in both English and Spanish
- Experience or training related to mental health support and/or behavioral health services
- Comfort working in a client-facing environment with sensitivity and empathy
- Ability to follow clinical guidance and agency policies
