About the Role
Mantis helps organizations improve building performance by connecting energy, facility operations, and sustainability. We support clients across the full facility lifecycle, from planning and design through field execution and long-term asset management, with a focus on commercial and industrial portfolios, including data centers and complex mechanical systems.
As a Building Controls Project Manager in Atlanta, you’ll lead the delivery of building controls and related facility performance initiatives—helping ensure projects are executed on time, coordinated across teams, and aligned with client goals.
Responsibilities
- Manage building controls projects from kickoff through completion, coordinating schedules, scope, and key milestones
- Collaborate with engineering, field teams, and stakeholders to support BMS/BAS and EPMS control implementations
- Oversee project documentation, including plans, submittals, and commissioning-related deliverables
- Track progress, manage risks, and resolve issues to maintain quality and delivery timelines
- Coordinate with construction and facility operations teams to support smooth installation and handoff
- Communicate status and outcomes with internal teams and clients throughout the project lifecycle
Requirements
- Experience managing projects related to building controls, BMS/BAS, EPMS, or similar systems
- Strong project management fundamentals, including scheduling, coordination, and stakeholder communication
- Comfort working with mechanical/HVAC-related environments and technical project documentation
- Ability to manage multiple moving parts while maintaining attention to detail
- Experience working with commissioning, controls testing, or field execution is a plus
