About the Role
SYSTRA Canada, part of the international SYSTRA group, is seeking a CAD Designer to support transportation infrastructure delivery for the Hamilton LRT corridor project. In this hybrid role, you will produce and coordinate construction staging and traffic management drawings that reflect the engineering design intent.
Responsibilities
- Translate engineering design markups into detailed staging and traffic management plan sets
- Produce, review, and coordinate drawing deliverables to support construction planning and execution
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure drawings align with project requirements and design intent
- Maintain drawing organization, version control, and accuracy throughout the design process
- Support delivery of transportation infrastructure documentation for the Hamilton, ON scope
Requirements
- CAD drafting experience producing construction staging and/or traffic management drawings
- Strong understanding of roadway/traffic concepts and how they translate into plan sets
- Ability to work in a multidisciplinary environment and incorporate design feedback
- Detail-oriented approach to drawing accuracy, coordination, and documentation
