About the Role
The City of Kalgoorlie Boulder is seeking four enthusiastic Caretaker team members to support multiple departments. In this role, you will help keep public-facing halls and facilities well maintained, clean, and cared for to a high standard—while maintaining strict confidentiality at all times.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and care for City halls and public facilities to a high standard
- Perform cleaning tasks and basic maintenance duties as required
- Support day-to-day facility readiness for internal and external customers
- Work to deadlines across multiple tasks while maintaining strong attention to detail
- Maintain confidentiality in all dealings related to City facilities and operations
Requirements
- Experience in cleaning and basic maintenance
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to liaise confidently with customers
- Ability to handle issues professionally, including negotiation and conflict resolution
- Good administrative, planning, and organisational skills with a focus on deadlines
- A team mindset with the ability to work autonomously and solve problems
