About the Role
INTEGRIS Health is hiring a Certified Professional Coding Specialist for a full-time day shift position in Oklahoma City, OK. In this role, you’ll review clinical and demographic information from the Health Information record and assign accurate ICD-10 codes in line with established guidelines.
Responsibilities
- Analyze relevant clinical and demographic data from the Health Information record
- Assign appropriate ICD-10 diagnosis codes following coding guidelines
- Ensure coding accuracy and compliance with CMS, state, and other applicable regulatory requirements
- Support compliant documentation and coding practices to help maintain quality reporting
Requirements
- Certification as a professional coding specialist (e.g., CPC/CCS or equivalent)
- Strong knowledge of ICD-10 coding guidelines and documentation review
- Ability to apply CMS and regulatory requirements to coding decisions
