About the Role
Join our team as a Mechanical Engineer Consultant 2 supporting nuclear power plant modifications. In this role, you will lead engineering project(s) that include mechanical engineers, designers, controls, and scheduling professionals, guiding work from design through execution and closeout.
Responsibilities
- Own project execution by coordinating resources across engineering, design, controls, and scheduling disciplines.
- Manage safety, schedule, budget, reporting, and overall client experience across the full project lifecycle.
- Direct and mentor the project team to ensure clear accountability and strong performance.
- Build and maintain effective working relationships with client task engineers and key stakeholders.
- Drive planning and execution efforts to complete projects safely, on time, and to required quality expectations.
Requirements
- Experience leading engineering projects, programs, or project management in a technical environment.
- Strong understanding of mechanical engineering work supporting nuclear plant modifications (design, analysis, or related activities).
- Ability to coordinate multiple internal and external teams and manage competing priorities.
- Excellent communication skills for reporting, stakeholder management, and client-facing collaboration.
