About the Role
Colorado Mental Health Hospital at Fort Logan (CMHHIFL) is expanding and adding forensic bed capacity to support our mission of providing safe, secure, and therapeutic care. We’re seeking a Clinical Security Officer I to help maintain a secure environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and secure assigned areas to support hospital safety and operations
- Respond to incidents and follow established safety and security procedures
- Assist with de-escalation efforts and maintain order in high-stakes situations
- Document security-related observations and actions according to policy
- Provide assistance to staff and coordinate with clinical teams as needed
Requirements
- Must be a Colorado state resident (position is limited to Colorado residents)
- Ability to work effectively in a clinical security environment
- Strong communication skills and professionalism when interacting with patients and staff
- Willingness to follow hospital policies, procedures, and safety protocols
