About the Role
North Point Technology is seeking a Cloud Infrastructure Architect to design, automate, and modernize cloud infrastructure in AWS GovCloud and isolated ADC environments (C2S/SC2S). This role requires an active TS/SCI clearance (with eligibility for CI Polygraph) and hands-on experience building secure, compliant cloud platforms for DoD/IC missions.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using CloudFormation or Terraform for ADC and GovCloud isolated regions
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for air-gapped environments, including approval gates and controlled change management
- Architect secure networking and connectivity patterns appropriate for classified, isolated enclaves
- Automate security hardening and compliance controls to support DoD/IC requirements
- Partner with engineering and stakeholders to translate mission needs into scalable cloud infrastructure
Requirements
- Active TS/SCI security clearance; must be eligible for CI Polygraph
- Strong AWS and DevOps expertise, including experience with AWS GovCloud
- Hands-on IaC experience with CloudFormation and/or Terraform
- Experience creating CI/CD workflows in restricted or air-gapped environments
- Knowledge of secure networking, compliance automation, and hardening practices in DoD/IC environments
