About the Role
Join our Supplier Quality Engineering team to improve performance across our global supply base. You’ll partner with manufacturing, R&D, and sourcing teams to address real production issues, support both new and existing products, and help drive quality excellence with key electronic and mechanical component suppliers.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with domestic electronic and mechanical component suppliers, tracking quality trends and driving continuous improvement.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for production on supplier quality concerns for mechanical and electronic components.
- Coordinate communication between suppliers and R&D to support new product development and quality readiness.
- Lead or support investigations into quality escapes, root causes, and corrective actions to reduce repeat issues.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to strengthen supplier performance and ensure consistent quality at scale.
Requirements
- Experience working with supplier quality, manufacturing quality, or engineering quality in a production environment.
- Knowledge of quality processes and problem-solving methods (e.g., root-cause analysis and corrective action workflows).
- Familiarity with electronic and/or mechanical components and the quality requirements that apply to them.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to coordinate across suppliers, production, and R&D.
