About the Role

Join the Production Resources Department at Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard and support the Maintenance Program Division. This position serves as a primary liaison between Building Managers and support service personnel, providing engineering guidance to help maintain safe, code-compliant facilities.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the Building Manager Program for the Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard.
  • Provide technical and engineering direction to ensure safe working conditions for shipyard personnel.
  • Inspect facilities periodically and respond to high-priority work requests.
  • Perform construction and project management duties as needed.
  • Conduct technical evaluations of facility conditions and confirm compliance with applicable building codes.

Requirements

  • Engineering background aligned to civil, mechanical, or electrical engineering (Series 0810/0830 or 0850).
  • Ability to provide technical evaluations and engineering direction for facility maintenance and compliance.
  • Experience supporting facilities through inspections, planning, and follow-up on work requests.
  • Strong understanding of applicable building codes and safe work practices.

Compensation

  • SSR 414H (Series 0810/0830): GS-11 $86,472–$109,867; GS-12 $95,994–$124,031.
  • SSR 422H (Series 0850): GS-11 $88,599–$111,994; GS-12 $101,092–$129,129.
