About the Role
Redwood Materials is hiring a Construction Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) Manager to support our internal Engineering, Procurement, & Construction (EPC) team. In this role, you’ll help ensure that battery recycling and battery materials manufacturing projects are built to the right standards—safely, reliably, and in alignment with project requirements.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement construction QA/QC plans, inspection processes, and quality verification activities across EPC projects.
- Coordinate with engineering, procurement, contractors, and site teams to confirm work complies with drawings, specifications, and applicable standards.
- Oversee inspection and testing activities, review results, and drive corrective actions when issues are identified.
- Maintain documentation for quality compliance, including reports, checklists, nonconformance records, and closeout materials.
- Support continuous improvement by identifying recurring quality risks and proposing process enhancements.
Requirements
- Experience leading construction quality assurance/quality control for industrial or complex facilities.
- Strong knowledge of QA/QC practices, inspection methods, and nonconformance/corrective action workflows.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and technical requirements.
- Comfort working on active construction sites and collaborating with contractors and cross-functional teams.
