About the Role
Confidence Management Solutions (CMS) is hiring an experienced Cook for a long-term care nursing facility in Montclair, NJ. We offer both full-time and part-time positions with day and evening shifts and rotating weekend/holiday coverage.
Responsibilities
- Prepare meals using standardized recipes to ensure consistent taste, quality, and cost control.
- Portion and serve food (or prepare for delivery) according to established meal outlines and service standards.
- Maintain proper food temperature and presentation to ensure meals are appealing and ready to serve.
- Monitor meal quality by tasting food and making adjustments as needed.
Requirements
- Experience cooking in a healthcare setting such as a nursing home, senior living, hospital, or similar environment.
- Ability to follow standardized recipes and portioning guidelines.
- Strong attention to food quality, temperature, and presentation.
