About the Role
FWG Solutions is seeking a Crane Operator & Tool Room Coordinator to support the U.S. Navy’s Landing Craft, Air Cushion (LCAC) Amphibious Combat Vehicle (ACV) program under the LCAC 100 Program. In this role, you will help ensure safe, efficient movement of materials and maintain accurate accountability for tools and equipment in an on-base environment at the worksite.
Responsibilities
- Operate cranes and coordinate safe movement of equipment and materials on-base in support of program activities
- Operate and coordinate forklifts, carts, and other material-handling equipment as needed
- Support tool room operations, including special tools handling and room accountability
- Maintain organization and accurate tracking of tools and equipment to support readiness and compliance
- Follow established safety procedures and operational guidelines while performing daily tasks
Requirements
- Experience operating cranes and/or forklifts in a maintenance, logistics, or industrial environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate accountability for tools and equipment
- Commitment to safety and ability to follow procedures and site requirements
- Ability to work effectively in an on-base team environment supporting defense program operations
