About the Role
Flexdrive, a Lyft subsidiary, is building the operational backbone for autonomous vehicle (AV) fleets. We’re opening our first AV depot in Nashville, Tennessee, and we’re looking for a hands-on Fleet Operations Lead to run swing-shift activities and help ensure safe, compliant operations across our 24/7 environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead morning-to-afternoon shift operations at the Nashville AV depot
- Ensure day-to-day execution of safety procedures and operational standards
- Monitor compliance requirements and support continuous improvement in safety practices
- Coordinate with internal teams and partners to keep fleet operations running smoothly
- Escalate risks and support corrective actions to maintain a strong safety culture
Requirements
- Proven experience in fleet operations, depot operations, or transportation operations leadership
- Strong safety mindset with the ability to drive compliance and safe work practices
- Experience working in fast-paced, high-availability environments (24/7 preferred)
- Ability to lead a team in a hands-on role and communicate clearly across shifts
