About the Role
Bellweather is seeking a Creative Director to lead our Creative department and shape the direction of every project. You’ll balance big-picture vision with hands-on craft—partnering closely with Strategy, guiding concept development, and ensuring the quality and originality Bellweather is known for shines through in every deliverable.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Strategy to define creative vision and align concepts with business goals
- Lead concept development and creative pitches, presenting ideas and scaled deliverables to clients
- Stay current on industry trends and emerging technologies to keep our creative work ahead of the curve
- Provide creative oversight for photo and video production, including approving cast, wardrobe, shot lists, scripts, and storyboards
- Support project execution to deliver work on time and on budget without compromising craft
- Manage resource allocation across multiple projects and coordinate freelancers, tools, and creative assets
- Continuously improve creative processes and workflows to increase efficiency and effectiveness
- Collaborate with external vendors and partners to ensure smooth production and delivery
- Mentor and develop a team of designers, photographers, videographers, and copywriters through feedback, training, and performance management
- Contribute to new business opportunities and thought leadership to strengthen Bellweather’s market position
Requirements
- Proven experience leading creative direction for brand and multimedia projects
- Strong ability to translate strategy into compelling, audience-aligned creative concepts
- Demonstrated leadership experience managing creative teams and freelance support
- Experience overseeing photo/video production and ensuring creative consistency from pre-production through delivery
- Excellent client communication skills, including presenting creative work and defending creative decisions
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to juggle multiple projects while maintaining quality
