About the Role
Iterative Health is seeking its first dedicated cybersecurity hire to help establish and lead the company’s security program from the ground up. You’ll play a key role in protecting systems and data that support clinical research and patient-focused innovation.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and mature core cybersecurity practices and controls
- Assess current security posture and identify gaps across systems, access, and workflows
- Develop security policies, standards, and procedures that scale with the organization
- Support secure configuration and hardening of infrastructure and applications
- Partner with engineering and operations to reduce risk and improve incident readiness
- Help define monitoring, alerting, and response processes for security events
Requirements
- Hands-on experience building security programs, controls, or security tooling
- Strong understanding of common security principles (identity, access, vulnerability management, logging)
- Experience with risk assessment and translating findings into actionable plans
- Ability to work independently and communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Familiarity with cloud and/or enterprise security practices
