About the Role
We’re seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer III to lead senior-level vulnerability management across our enterprise environment. You’ll provide technical thought leadership while helping the cybersecurity team identify, assess, prioritize, and remediate security weaknesses across endpoints, servers, networks, cloud systems, and applications.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and continuously improve enterprise vulnerability management capabilities
- Use and optimize tools such as Rapid7 and Tenable Nessus to drive risk reduction
- Perform vulnerability scanning and conduct risk-based prioritization
- Track remediation progress, ensure issues are resolved appropriately, and maintain clear audit-ready documentation
- Produce vulnerability metrics and reporting to support leadership decision-making
- Mentor junior team members and provide strategic direction to strengthen the team’s effectiveness
- Support cybersecurity incident response activities as part of a broader security operations team
Requirements
- Experience owning vulnerability management programs across endpoints, networks, cloud, and applications
- Hands-on experience with Rapid7 and/or Tenable Nessus
- Strong understanding of risk-based prioritization and remediation tracking
- Ability to translate security findings into actionable outcomes for technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Experience working with regulated data environments (e.g., PHI) is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to mentor others and contribute to continuous improvement
