About the Role
AIR’s Healthcare Transformation Program is hiring a Data Analyst II to support healthcare-focused projects. You’ll help turn complex datasets into clear, data-driven insights that inform policy, quality measurement, and value-based care initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Perform statistical analysis, modeling, and quantitative data management to support project deliverables
- Build data visualizations that communicate findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Manage, clean, and analyze complex healthcare datasets from CMS, MEPS, and/or similar national sources
- Identify data quality issues, troubleshoot inconsistencies, and improve analytic workflows
- Collaborate with project teams to define analysis approaches and deliver actionable results
Requirements
- Experience conducting statistical analysis and quantitative modeling
- Strong skills in data cleaning, preparation, and analysis of complex datasets
- Familiarity with healthcare data sources such as CMS and MEPS (or comparable large, nationally representative datasets)
- Ability to produce clear, accurate data visualizations
- Strong problem-solving mindset and attention to detail
