Vulnerability Management Consultant (Qualys, QCP) - Hybrid

About the Role

We’re seeking a Vulnerability Management Consultant to help a large enterprise assess its threat and vulnerability landscape using Qualys. You’ll analyze scan results, identify trends and risk areas, and partner with teams to support remediation efforts. You’ll also explore how reporting and scanning workflows can be improved with tools like Power BI or Tableau and automation.

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze findings from Qualys Vulnerability Management (VM), Policy Compliance (PC), and PCI compliance scans
• Identify trends, recurring vulnerabilities, and emerging risk patterns based on scan data
• Communicate insights to relevant stakeholders and support remediation planning
• Assess how Tableau or Power BI can be used to build dashboards that reflect the operational health of vulnerability management
• Evaluate opportunities to automate scanning-related processes, including script-based improvements and IP subnet upload workflows

Requirements

• Experience analyzing vulnerability and compliance scan results (Qualys VM/PC/PCI preferred)
• Strong understanding of enterprise vulnerability management concepts and remediation workflows
• Familiarity with dashboarding/reporting using Power BI or Tableau
• Basic to intermediate scripting or automation experience related to scanning operations
• Ability to translate technical scan findings into clear recommendations for responsible teams
