About the Role
Shift is building AI agents that help insurers tackle some of their most important work. In this role, you’ll support healthcare payment integrity initiatives by applying data science and engineering practices to improve accuracy, explainability, and security.
Responsibilities
- Develop and deploy data-driven models and workflows to support payment integrity use cases
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into measurable technical outcomes
- Design explainable approaches so human experts can review and act with confidence
- Build reliable data pipelines and production-grade solutions for secure, scalable AI
Requirements
- Strong experience with data science and/or data engineering
- Practical knowledge of machine learning methods and model evaluation
- Experience working with healthcare or payments-related data is a plus
- Comfort collaborating in an innovation-focused, fast-moving environment
