About the Role
Our organization is moving into its next growth phase—scaling a proven product without sacrificing quality. We’re looking for a Product Director in digital learning who builds the operational systems and leadership practices that help products launch faster, improve continuously, and deliver an exceptional learner experience.
This is an operational leadership role focused on the product development function and the scalable “product layer” that supports a growing portfolio. You’ll turn strategic direction into repeatable operating models, strengthen infrastructure, and embed AI into workflows so teams can execute with pace and consistency.
Responsibilities
- Own the operational infrastructure for programme development, launch, and continuous improvement
- Drive product quality across the customer journey, improving standards while increasing throughput
- Design operational systems, tooling, and AI-enabled workflows that improve efficiency and scalability
- Improve launch readiness by reducing friction and increasing repeatability without compromising quality
- Set cross-functional operating rhythms across Product, Technology, Delivery, Commercial, and Marketing
- Build reporting, KPIs, and decision frameworks to support continuous improvement
- Lead prioritisation and execution across multiple initiatives to translate strategy into delivery
- Develop scalable operating models to support significant future growth
- Line manage Product Development team members and coach a culture of continuous improvement
Requirements
- Proven experience building products, operational systems, or platforms in fast-growing organizations
- Ability to think ahead and design for future scale rather than immediate needs
- Strong product mindset with a focus on customer outcomes and quality
- High AI fluency with hands-on use of modern AI tools to improve decisions, productivity, and innovation
- Understanding that operational excellence should accelerate commercial growth without unnecessary process
- Clear communication and confident decision-making; ability to influence across functions without relying on hierarchy
- Comfort working in ambitious, fast-moving environments with high expectations and low bureaucracy
- Experience in digital learning, SaaS, technology, marketplaces, or similar scaling contexts is advantageous
