About the Role

Sonar is building the future of agent-centric software development by verifying and governing AI-generated code. We help teams ensure that code produced by AI-assisted developers and autonomous agents is reliable, secure, and maintainable.

As a Developer Writer, you’ll create clear, developer-friendly documentation and technical content that helps users understand how Sonar works and how to integrate it into their workflows.

Responsibilities

  • Write and maintain technical documentation, guides, and developer resources
  • Translate complex engineering concepts into approachable, accurate explanations
  • Collaborate with engineering and product teams to capture requirements and validate technical details
  • Develop content that supports integrations with AI coding tools and developer platforms
  • Continuously improve existing documentation based on user feedback and product changes

Requirements

  • Strong technical writing skills with the ability to explain complex topics clearly
  • Experience creating developer documentation (e.g., API docs, integration guides, tutorials)
  • Comfort working with modern developer tooling and workflows
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across engineering and product
