About the Role
WSBT is looking for a Digital Content Producer to help power our award-winning digital newsroom. You’ll contribute to content across our website and social platforms, working alongside the Digital Executive Producer and the Assignment Desk to keep every channel fresh, accurate, and engaging.
Responsibilities
- Determine content and creative presentation for WSBT’s website and social platforms
- Write compelling, accurate copy for digital and social audiences
- Coordinate with newsroom teams to support timely coverage and updates
- Manage multiple tasks while meeting fast-paced deadlines
- Ensure posts are clear, relevant, and aligned with strong news judgment
Requirements
- Solid news judgment and ability to make strong editorial decisions
- Proven ability to write clearly, accurately, and engagingly
- Strong multitasking and time-management skills
- Comfort working in a deadline-driven, fast-paced environment
- Leadership mindset and ability to collaborate effectively with team members
