About the Role
Join an award-winning newsroom as a Digital Content Producer helping power WSBT’s digital and social platforms. You’ll collaborate with the Digital Executive Producer and the Assignment Desk to ensure our website and social channels are timely, accurate, and engaging.
Responsibilities
- Develop and publish digital and social content for WSBT’s website and platforms such as Facebook, Twitter/X, and YouTube
- Use strong news judgment to determine what content to feature and how to present it
- Write compelling, accurate copy that fits the speed and tone of a newsroom environment
- Coordinate with newsroom teams to meet deadlines and keep platforms updated
- Manage multiple tasks while working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven workflow
Requirements
- Solid news judgment and the ability to make sound editorial decisions
- Proven ability to write clearly, accurately, and engagingly
