Director, Clinical Operations (Lung Program) - Remote

About the Role

4DMT is seeking a Director of Clinical Operations to lead execution for the Lung Program. In this role, you will help drive late-stage clinical development activities and ensure studies are run efficiently, compliantly, and in close partnership with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day clinical operations planning and execution for the Lung Program
• Coordinate study start-up, site management, monitoring activities, and operational timelines
• Partner with clinical, regulatory, medical, and data teams to support protocol delivery and operational readiness
• Ensure vendor and CRO performance aligns with study objectives, budgets, and quality standards
• Track operational metrics, risks, and issues; drive mitigation plans to keep studies on course
• Support compliance with applicable regulations, SOPs, and GCP requirements

Requirements

• Proven leadership experience in clinical operations for biotech or pharmaceutical clinical trials
• Strong knowledge of GCP and clinical trial operational standards
• Experience managing vendors/CROs and cross-functional clinical teams
• Ability to manage complex timelines, operational risk, and stakeholder communication
• Track record of improving execution efficiency and study performance
