About the Role
Join our Cyber Rapid Innovation organization as a Director of Cybersecurity Engineering. You’ll serve as an enterprise-wide point of contact and subject matter expert for emerging technologies and help assess how they affect our security posture. You’ll also connect our organization with the broader cybersecurity industry to support innovation and continuous improvement.
This is a hybrid position based in Rahway, New Jersey (3 days per week in the office).
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end proof of concept efforts aligned to the CISO organization’s priorities
- Partner with vendors, peers, and industry stakeholders to evaluate and track new and emerging security technologies
- Oversee engineering and implementation of complex security initiatives and technology rollouts
- Translate innovation opportunities into actionable plans that strengthen the organization’s overall security footprint
- Act as a liaison between internal teams and the cyber community to share insights and best practices
Requirements
- Proven leadership experience in cybersecurity engineering or a related security discipline
- Strong understanding of modern security technologies and how they integrate into enterprise environments
- Experience running proof of concept programs and guiding technical evaluation from concept to delivery
- Ability to collaborate effectively with vendors, cross-functional peers, and external industry partners
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex engineering workstreams and drive outcomes
