About the Role
Harbor IT is looking for a Senior Cyber Threat Analyst to strengthen our security operations for critical, complex environments. You’ll independently investigate advanced alerts and help deliver fast, accurate detection and response through our tier-less SOC and proprietary Sagan detection engine.
Responsibilities
- Independently investigate complex security events and determine appropriate next actions
- Analyze alerts to reduce false positives and improve detection quality over time
- Support high-touch incident response within a 24/7/365 US-based Security Operations Center
- Collaborate with engineering and security teams to refine detection and response processes
- Maintain strong documentation of findings, timelines, and recommended remediation steps
Requirements
- Proven SOC experience with hands-on threat investigation
- Strong understanding of common attack techniques, tactics, and incident response workflows
- Ability to work independently while managing complex, time-sensitive investigations
- Experience working in a security operations environment with continuous monitoring
