Senior Cyber Security Officer (Onsite) - Reston, VA

About the Role

AnaVation is seeking a Senior Cyber Security Officer to support a mission-critical customer in Reston, Virginia. In this role, you will help maintain the operational security posture of an information system by ensuring security policies, standards, and procedures are established and consistently followed.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and monitor the organization’s operational security posture for assigned information systems
• Ensure security policies, standards, and procedures are implemented and adhered to
• Collaborate with stakeholders across all levels to plan and deliver short-, medium-, and long-term security commitments
• Coordinate security tasks and support timely completion of assigned deliverables

Requirements

• Proven experience in cyber security operations and maintaining security posture
• Strong ability to work collaboratively with staff across an organization
• Demonstrated capability to manage and coordinate short-, medium-, and long-term priorities
• Knowledge of security policies, standards, and procedural compliance
